How we work

What happens to your request, and how the guides are written.

Free, no obligation. One local concrete contractor prices it, not five.

What we do with your request

We pass it to one concrete contractor who covers your county. One contractor, not a list. They ring you, ask about the job, the ground and your dates, and give you a written price. Nothing is booked until you say yes.

How the guides are written

  • Depths, grades and rules follow the Building Regulations' Technical Guidance Documents, I.S. EN 206 and the S.100 farm specification.
  • Prices are in euro and say whether VAT is in.
  • Where we've worked something out ourselves, such as concrete volumes, we say so.
  • Local figures come from the CSO, the Census, the EPA and Met Éireann.

What we never do

We never post reviews, ratings or customer numbers that aren't real, and we never show a photo as a job when it isn't one.
